Anjeero with Sauce and meat

Assalamu alaykum here is the recipe for the famous somali anjeero :)

Ingredients:

  • 600 g Flour

  • 180 g Semolina Flour

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 2 Eggs

  • 160 g Flour with yeast

  • 1325 ml Water

Recipe:

  1. Mix everything together in a big bowl until it's smoothie

  2. Close the bowl with a Cloth and wait 2 hours oder let it go overnight in the fridge.

  3. Heat up the pan and wait until it's very hot

  4. Now take a Soup spoon and put the dough into the plan with little circles and dont press to hard!

  5. Wait until the wihte dough gets a bit brown. I Think it's only 1 minute.

  6. Now take it out and put on a dish

You can served it with meat for example oodkac or Sauce or somali tea, the sweet variante.
